Geography of Venter
Venter is a month’s travel via ship off the eastern coast of Capita. Nearly 300 miles across at its widest, Venter also has countless smaller islands branching off of it. The islands are primarily jungle environments and populated only by a few human tribes. These islands seem to form a puzzle, as if they once broke off of the main island.
The majority of Venter possesses a mediterranean climate. At its center is a sprawling, subtropical forest (see: The Subtropical Forestlands). The western coast of the island is made up of sheer cliffs and crags; very rocky, though greener further inland. This green landscape of rolling hills and large rocks reaches south, which becomes terraced hills perfect for rice and barley (see: The Ricelands).
The southern coast is lined with pristine, white beaches. To its north-eastern border is a rocky, volcanic landscape which has become more desolate owning to the active volcano (see The Barrenlands).
